This was called "man," then "what have i told you." Gay tinkered with it a lot. She added the balls because "it needed something." That led to what she later said was the full title, "what have I told you about juggling in the house?"

She seems to have considered black and white before finally deciding, not long before the files were due at the printer, more color was needed. She liked that so much she did three, which were printed, framed and sold separately in the show. The one numbered II (next) was the first of the final colored versions.
