This almost didn't make it into the show - she overlooked it when the pieces were sent to the printer. When she realized that a few days before the opening, and remembered all the time she had spent on it - the background especially took a lot of work - she rushed to get it into final form and have it printed and framed. It was delivered to the gallery the day of the opening.
The version above is the one sent to the printer. She brightened the yellowish marks on the iris, a subtle touch, but in contrast to her usual practice, she darkened some other colors.
